2012 have 2 oil pan gasket

The lower oil pan that actually contains the oil is bolted to something Kia calls the "ladder frame." The ladder frame is essentially the lower half of your engine block, but some people may refer to it as the upper oil pan. So, in short, there are two joints that need to be sealed, but they aren't both actually oil pans.
