Is there a way to prevent alarm from going off in rear lift area in KIA Sorento?

Hello, I do not know of any "factory installed" alarm that has a motion or impact sensor, which seems to be causing the concern here with a dog present. Factory alarm systems detect when a door is opened without the key, but do not detect things like glass breakage or movement in the vehicle. This makes me think you have an add on alarm device in the vehicle with the ability to detect motion or movement. If this is the case, you may want to consider removing it, or seeing if you can adjust the sensitivity to a desired level. Do you have engagement with a dealership where you purchased the vehicle? I would see them with this concern and ask for guidance.
