Broken Transmission check plug

What is your question?

I broke the transmission check fill plastic plug. The locking ears broke off and plug just keeps turning. Should I try getting it to where it lines up to take out or just leave it alone. I guess the plug has a a piece sticking iut that lines up to pull out? As long as its not lined up it shouldn’t fall out right? Or maybe that little plastic piece that sticks out broke off? I need to go on a trip and don’t know what to do. pleeeese help

What makes this problem better or worse?

I changed fluid to help shudder when shifting.
