Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Overheating after replacing the water pump, thermostat, and radiator hose—and getting no heat from the vents—could mean there's still air trapped in the cooling system, or a more stubborn issue like a head gasket problem. Even with bleeding, trapped air pockets can hide out, especially in a tricky system like the Sorento’s. Cold air from the heater while overheating suggests coolant isn't circulating fully, either from an air block or a failing component, like a thermostat sticking shut. A pressure test can help detect leaks or other weak spots. Don’t let it drive you nuts—cooling systems can be sneaky!
