Has anyone had a timing chain go out on 2016 Kia Sorento

You did not mention which engine your Sorento is equipped with - can you share that? How do you know it is the timing chain making the noise on a cold start? Have you verified oil level and condition and a recent oil change using a Kia original equipment filter?
