My husband drove our kia last night and got up this morning and it won't start. It won't even click and the battery is charged
What makes this problem better or worse?

How are you testing the battery? If you're seeing lights on, that's not enough to know it is "charged". Proper testing of the battery is where you should start. The battery is likely too low in charge to crank the engine. There are many far less common causes -- programmed key issue, transmission range sensor issue...all kinds of things that are unusual, but the most common cause by far is simply battery related.
