Hello, there are different motors that operate the different directions. If the switch is working -- which must first be verified - then first check or debris in the seat track which could be causing a restriction and binding of the motor as it tries to move the seat. If there is no restriction, power to the motor and operation still does not happen, you'll have to remove the motor to see what's happening.
