Car won’t start check engine light

Battery replaced with new battery. Car now won’t start and the check engine light on. What is the problem? Should the computer be replaced or reset?

Hello, the check engine light should always be on with the key on and the engine not running, so that seems normal. Is the engine cranking without starting? Or is the engine not cranking?
