AC works when if feels like it in the summer.

What is your question?

My AC has been working in the morning, but not in the afternoon when it feels like 100 plus degrees outside. Last year it did the same thing but Kia told me there was nothing wrong. This has been an ongoing issue and the AC has (in the past) began to work after a couple days, few days, or a week or two. I had my SUV to Kia three times in 2018 with zero resolution and feel that they are just waiting for the compressor to break so that can be replaced. But, as a customer, I am upset because I have to drive home or wherever I need to go with no AC. Any suggestions as to what it may be?

What makes this problem better or worse?

Worse in the summer.
