Trying to start my 2008 Kia Sorento and it is clicking multiple times and won't start, the air conditioning and lights are working, but it won't start. Last week it started clicking but would eventually start, this week it's stopped entirely.
What makes this problem better or worse?
It could be the cold making it worse?

First thing to do would be to attempt to jump start, if starts every time on jump then most likely a weak battery. You could also have corroded or bad connections between starter and battery. Next most common thing is a starter with a bad brush segment. Best thing to do would be to have a qualified shop check it out, as I am assuming the clicking is the starter solenoid not just the start and fuel relays which could mean something else is wrong. Also not unusual to have a weak battery that was hard on the starter meaning both items are failing. If weak battery, should at least test charging system to ensure proper charging of new battery when changed.
