Why is my new ac compressor making noise after the 3rd replacement?

My ac compressor started making a terrible noise. My car is under warranty so I took it to the dealership and each time they replaced it , it would make the same noise. After replacing it 3 x, yes 3 x, they told me to go home and run it to see if it would work itself out. If they were selling a used Kia who would buy it making that kind of noise? I live out of town and I'm making my 4th trip there to have it checked out again!
