My 2007 Kia Sorento 4 wheel drive was noisy after starting for about a minute. Sounded like a timing chain. It stopped abruptly and hasn't done it since . It's also running perfectly. If a tensioner was a little slow kicking in . Is it Ok to drive now?

My best recommendation based off of your symptoms is to ensure that the oil level is full and clean and that the filter has been replaced with a known good Kia filter. Make sure the oil system is working properly and that's all you can really do. If the noise returns there could be an internal engine issue. If not, drive as normal until you see a problem.
