RepairPal Certified shops can diagnose and repair your 2007 Kia Sorento. They provide transparent pricing with a minimum 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty on repairs and services.
I just had the Sorento in the shop to have a belt changed. They pulled the radiator to change the belt. Soon after the car overheated. I was just given a diagnosis of a hole in the radiator. I think they damaged the radiator when they replaced the belt>>>>>> $300.00 to change the belt and $530.00 for a new radiator. Not a happy camper.
They pulled the radiator out to change the belt. That's a long way around to replace a drive belt. The belt replacement should be about a $100 - $150 job. I'm not certain, but I does sound like they may have damaged the radiator, if they actually did remove it to replace the belt. $530 is about right for the radiator. I would ask them to cover the labor if you pay for the part. Once it's repaired. I wouldn't go back to that shop.
