How can you say there are no common problems reported for this vehicle? I have read problem after problem posted about the headlights, taillights, and brake lights going out. Many owners post they have replaced bulb and bulb. I find it quite absurd that KIA has not placed a recall on the year models that have CONSISTANT problems with bulbs going out. Mine have been replaced many times as well. Now I find out (AFTER my warranty has expired) that they KNEW years ago that the wiring harness needed to be replaced, but they did NOT FIX IT! Why not?

Sometimes the best thing to do is to take this up with Kia corporate. Some of the auto manufacturers are really good at working with customer problems--you'll certainly learn whether or not you'll want to buy another Kia.
JUST LIKE ALL OWNERS OF THE 2004 KIA SORENTOS, WE ALL HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH NO HELP FOR THE KIA DEALERSHIP. PLEASE HELP ME TO GET A TSB ALERT TO KIA HEADQUARTERS. I WAS INFORMED BY A MECHANIC THAT WORKS FOR KIA THAT HEADQUARTERS KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS BUT REFUSES TO PUT OUT A CAMPAIGN. PLEASE CALL THIS NUMBER WITH THE VIN # TO YOUR VEHICLE AND FILE A COMPLAINT. THIS WILL BE THE ONLY WAY THAT KIA OWNERS WILL GET SOMETHING AND TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THAT THE MECHANICS FOR KIA WANT IT ALSO. THIS WILL MAKE THEIR JOB EASIER.
