AC compressor not getting power. Have checked fuses. What else could it be?

your mechanic cannot find the cause? you need to take it to someone who can help you. there are many resons, such as low freon, low pressure switch, compressor relay, dash control malfunction or a defective compressor. take it to another shop that can give you the answer you need. Roy

would bet that it is the low pressure switch. It is a bi-metal switch like the ones used by ford in the 70's.
