What is your question?
have a 2010 kia sedona ex first initial problem was check engin light. Took it and had it connected for diagnostic code for check engine. The code was for selinoid shifter d. I have not been able to replace it yet. Still driving it due to only vehicle. It lacks power and seems to be overworking cause of not being able to shift properly .now im having issues with it dying on me while driving like the battery's gone dead cause the alternator is bad but even after it shuts off all electrical systems have sustained power. I have checked all fuses they are all good. The alternator is good. Now she is sitting dead with a good battery and now will not start. Has 140,000 on odo. Starter is good. What could be causing this issue.

Hello, first - the shift solenoid issue is more than likely an internal transmission. mechanical issue. Changing a solenoid will not likely be a sustainable repair. You should be thinking that the transmission itself is likely in question. Second, you can't continue to drive the vehicle if there is a known issue. It's likely to make things worse. I appreciate that it's your only vehicle, but - what now? You've had to figure out an alternative. If you stopped earlier to repair the vehicle it might not have worsened to this point. Third, You said the alternator is bad, then the alternator is good. Have you had the starting and charging system tested? Starting with the battery, does it sustain a full charge and handle a load? Are you certain the "stalling" issue is due to a charging system concern? You mentioned that the alternator is "good". When you turn the key, is it totally dead? www.repairpal.com/repair-shops That's a link to find a shop near you -- which ultimately would serve you better than the guessing that's been done to this point.
