What is your question?
Whenever it rains heavy, water gets into the air inlet and the engine shuts down. The air inlet is just about on top of the radiator and the grille of the hood is not far enough from the air inlet, the forward motion of the vehicle plus the suction of the air inlet sucks the water , and the engine shuts down. I think 2002 Kia Sedona should route that air inlet far away from rain to a farther and a safer location.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Worse in heavy rain.
How long has your 2002 Kia Sedona had this problem?
A few days ago of heavy rain.
