Steering light when car started but gets really stiff after driving Help?

My 2009 Kia Rondo has great steering when I start the car up, but te more I drive it the stiffer it becomes! It gets to the point that from a stop I can not turn the wheel. Almost like a Chevy Chevette with manual steering from years ago! Any ideas on the cause? BTW the belt seems good, I just did a flush 2 weeks ago, added a conditioner and there are no leaks from the rack and pinion
