Crank shaft position sensor

A stalling concern as well as troubles starting can in some cases indicate a failing engine crankshaft sensor. This can also be caused by a weak fuel pump in some cases among other components. The crankshaft position sensor on this model is located at the driver side rear of the engine at the back of the cylinder head area in the engine block itself near where the top of the transmission bolts up to the engine. In some cases a local parts store can pull up a picture or diagram of its location for you free of charge. It's always a good idea to have a concern like this properly diagnosed before replacing parts as this will help ensure the correct part(s) are being replaced to resolve this concern.
