ESC OFF means that the electronic stability control is disconected (off). It means that the ESC button is pressed. My advice is to keep all the time the ESC on. The ESC control stability of the car in any situation. Read more in car book. Liviu

The esc is what stabilizes the car on uneven and curvy roads roads. The dash will flash ESC when the car is first started to let you know that it is on. It should always be left on.
