My car began to start running rough and the engine light came on. I took the car to autozone and they connected it to the computer and it diagnosed it as being a misfire in the number 5 cylinder...I have been trying to get the coil pack out for days and cant see how to do it without tearing the engine apart. any suggestions???? cylinder number 5 is located on the back of the engine on the drivers side according to autozone.

they are tough to get out. use some wd 40 around the boot and keep twisting it until it frees up. once it comes out, you may have to dig the rest out. Roy
My 2008 did the same thing. The codes Autozone came up with were bad plugs & too rich fuel mixture. I changed plugs-you have to take the manifold off to get to the back ones-a real pain. The light still stayed on & now code is saying possibly VIS solenoid problem & misfire cylnder 4. I have always been able to do maintenence on my own vehicles but I am getting very frustrated & may end up taking to a mechanic instead of just spending money on parts hoping it will fax the problem.
