What is your question?
On my 2017 Kia Rio I can not get the alternator to charge the battery above 13.7VDC. It should be charging @2000rpm 14.5VDC. I replaced alternator and battery and cables at the battery. Also when the engine is shut off with ignition switch off the starter motor spins and the solenoid clicks open and close 4 times. Can a faulty starter solenoid cause a low charge at the battery ? Where should I troubleshoot next? What component, part and or system should I check next ?

Hi, I just checked the specifications for your Kia's alternator and it says output is expected to be 13.5 volts at 90 - 110 amps - peak - depending on which one is installed. Why are you seeking 14.5 volts? This alternator will never create that kind of voltage. Sounds like you have some other concerns there with the starting system, but the alternator seems just right to me. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
