There is no specific day or time of day that the trunk opens by itself. I will be at work and someone will come to me and say they just closed my trunk. I'll be home and i'm looking out the window every hour to see if the trunk is open. The car was bought September 5th and since then the trunk has opened by it self about 15 times. I've taken it to the Kia dealearship on 92nd and western and they couldn't find anything wrong. I have another appointment this tuesday the 17th because since I brought it from the shop 29 october the trunk has opened 5 times.

I gave the exact problem with my Cerato 2015. When I took it in yesterday they said it is s feature of the car, and could do nothing about it because the boot did not open for them. If it is a feature why can't anyone get it to work, and why does it open randomly when I am nowhere near the car? Do I have to put up with this for as long as I keep the car? That means I can never put anything in the boot for obvious reasons.
