8 miles after about 3 weeks of driving, truck was parked under a parking lot for about 9 hrs..and it happened to be a day that was cooler than most in TEXAS..closed back door, and Purchased new 2015 kia sorento left truck on 1st level of parking garage, and fairly cool day for Texas, closed back door, entire tailgate window shattered. Per Police footage, no theft or vandalism, nor anyone close to truck nothing in back that could hit the window...I contacted KIA who after endless conversations, and escalating upward, KIA finally agreed to meet me 1/2 way on the cost which is a little over 500.00 I contend the window was defective. I had not even made my 1st payment What do you think, or who can I contact I need the glass replacd immediately. Insurance deductible is 500.00
