When the gas tank is filled, check engine light comes on shortly thereafter. It stays on until tank gets down to half full, goes out, & does not come back on until tank filled again. Or, if you only fill to half-full, light stays off. What gives here?

problem with the evap system. you need to see what the code is to help the tech track down the issue. could be the vent soloniod . Roy
The Purge Control Solenoid Valve is the usual culprit. I have the same problem and the dealer has changed the canister, but I still have the problem. I will get them to change the PCSV next. Or do it myself if they won't do it for free.
