Its hard to guess at a noise without being able to hear it first hand. This noise is caused by or sympathetic to something rotating. It could be tire related and not safe, get it checked as soon as possible or at least get a friend or workmate that is some what knowledgeable with cars to drive with you and see what they think could be the noise.
