What is your question?
the car will not take more than $1.25 before it acts like it is full and pour out as if you overfilled it. This happened about 4 years ago and the dealership replaced the fuel tank. Now it is happening again. Is there anything to do short of replacing it again?

Hello, there appears to be some kind of fuel system ventilation issue that is related to the evaporative emissions system. Unfortunately, this will take some troubleshooting to determine the cause of failure. In the meantime, I've seen in the past that varying the fuel nozzle positioning in the filler hole can help encourage more fuel filling. It's worth a try; even turn the nozzle upside-down when filling. See if that helps.
Thanks for the info. I have tried the different positions and speed, but not upside down. Headed to the gas station now. Food to know on ventilation as am taking it to the shop this week. Thanks again
