2004 kia rio key lock. Lock keeps clicking unable to exit or open door why

Hello, this sounds like some kind of system malfunction. The system may be thinking a door is unlocked when it is actually locked, or not closed properly. Testing will be needed to see the position of the door latch sensors when the problem occurs. Battery condition and voltage should also be checked.
