Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Great news, you may actually have some solid warranty coverage working in your favor here. Kia has had well documented oil consumption issues on certain engines and has extended warranty coverage on some of them as a result. On a 2020 model you could still be within Kia's powertrain warranty which is 5 years or 60,000 miles, and in some cases even longer depending on your situation. Burning through spark plugs twice in a year due to oil consumption is exactly the kind of documented recurring issue that warranty claims are built for. Head to a Kia dealer, bring your service records showing both spark plug replacements, and ask them specifically about oil consumption testing and any extended warranty coverage that applies to your engine. You can also call Kia of America and check for a warranty extension. Check RepairPal.com/recalls as well to see if there are any relevant bulletins for your vehicle!
