I have 70,000 miles and the pistons are burned out. Is this normal???

I have only owned the car the last 30,000. Warranty will not cover. I have a pre-certified 100K Warranty that will not cover the issue. Loosing faith in KIA

No that's not normal if you kept up on maintenance. I'd call corporate Kia for more details on the dealer's decision. Alex
