Hello, even if the battery is "new" you must ensure it is fully charged and able to handle a load. If the cold weather is so cold that the engine is very difficult to turn, even a new and good battery could struggle. Too hard to know what is going on without hands on testing and intervention; recommend having a local shop have a look.
