Ignition is stuck between locking a cc and the key won’t go all the way in the ignition

Hello, if the key cylinder is stuck in between positions without the key in the ignition, then the key cylinder itself is faulty and will need to be replaced. However, you'll need to get the key into the cylinder in order to properly replace it. Try moving the cylinder to the locked position without the key. Even if you have a to use a little bit of force to do it, it's no worse than the fact that it's already going to need to be replaced!
