Is there such a product that heats/defrosts windshields WITHOUT using a cigarette lighter as a power source

Hello, if you're talking about some kind of aftermarket accessory, I definitely do not. know of any that will heat or defrost the windshield other than via the ventilation system or some kind of power outlet in the vehicle. The only power outlet would be the 12 volt power point or lighter socket. I'm not sure of the reason for the special need or something that would require an external power source; certainly it could be hard-wired if need be. Seek local guidance at a shop near you, perhaps.
