Where is the water pump located

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! If your Optima is a 2.4L, the water pump is off to the side of the engine block above and to the right of the crankshaft pulley. If your Optima is a 2.7, the water pump is driven by the timing belt. It's located slightly below the two camshaft pulleys. I hope this help you in you quest to fond the elusive La Bomba De Agua!
