Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Bummer! Sounds like your Kia's giving you the runaround. Since you've tackled the coils, plugs, and even the fuel pump, but still no joy, let's dig deeper. If it's jerking and lunging, it could be a fuel delivery issue or maybe something with the air intake. You could always check the throttle body. It could be dirty and prevent it from working properly. Also, take a peek at the mass airflow sensor (MAF). If it's dirty or faulty, it can mess with the fuel-air mix. Another sneaky culprit could be a vacuum leak. Look for any cracked or disconnected hoses. Lastly, while there's no check engine light, you might still have pending codes. A good scan tool can read those. Give these a shot, and hopefully, your Optima will be running smoothly again. If it’s still stubborn, it might be time for a more thorough look from a pro. Good luck!
