Replaced 2004 Kia Optima fuel pump... Now it's a crank no start situation. -_-

I have a 2004 Kia Optima. It started to feel like it was sputtering/ jerking when
I drove it. Then it got worse a little and started jerking a little more when I went
up a hill or when I accelerated my speed. It never shut off on me but it felt like
it wanted to. Also, when i was stalling, it would feel like it was going to shut off.
I went ahead and bought a new fuel pump and replaced the old one. Now, my
car will not start. Crank no start i guess you could say.... What did I do wrong
or what can I do?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Worse ever since I replaced my old fuel pump with a new one.
