What is your question?
My 2017 Kia forte has no check engine light or any stored codes. It will stall at Random at slow speeds only. It has a rattling type noise on and off like a diesel truck running kind of, it will jolt randomly like hesitating, and has poor acceleration. It also will just quickly flash the oil light when it’s about to stall or when it’s jolting. I have been back and for the to the shop three times for this same issue. They’ve replaced the MAP sensor and both vvt solenoids. please HELP!!
How long has your 2017 Kia Forte had this problem?
About a month

Hey, my name is Dusty and I'm one of the auto experts with RepairPal's Car Genius team here to help! That sounds like a frustrating experience, more so when you've spent your hard-earned cash on multiple attempts to resolve it. Depending on your specific engine/model combination, you may have an issue with one or both of the variable valve timing actuators (gears). I'd recommend a second opinion from a shop that specializes in diagnostics to pinpoint the specific issue. If you have any other questions or would like to help with finding a RepairPal Certified shop in your area for that second opinion, give us a call! 877-913-1554
