Why would vehicle not start after thermostat housing replacement?

Hello, nothing about the physical replacement of that part could possibly prevent the engine from starting. However, components in the area that may have been removed or accessed are likely what has been compromised. Retrace the steps of parts replacement and see if wiring or another component may be displaced. If all else fails, diagnostic testing using proper equipment and shop manual reference is needed.
