The center portion of lcd display cluster has gone out and i cannot see the odometer, the word 'Amanti,' etc., I replaced the cluster with a Speedometer cluster for an '07, 08, 09 kia amanti that i ordered from lkqonline, but it did not fix the problem, the lcd display is still not working in the center of the cluster. I found a post online that mentioned checking modules. As mentioned above, i found a module that has 'diagnosis' stamped on it. What does that do or mean? I have taken the battery cable off and cleaned the posts and terminals. I am unable to find anything online or in my owners manual other than the post about modules. I have checked the fuses and they are all good. I think the first time the cluster went out, i had hit a bump; and, even though the display did come back on a day or so later, it soon went back off. Could it possibly be a short somewhere? Obviously, i need some advice. Any help you can give me will be extremely appreciated.
