Won't start after changing positive battery terminal cables

Battery is 4mths old. Recently it started having trouble starting post terminal cables all clean. In order to start it had to move the positive cable around. Yesterday replaced the positive terminal cable hooked battery back up now won't start even with jump. No noise at all. Butlights work radio windows etc.
What makes this problem better or worse?
