Why my gas padel stop working while I was driving as if I didn't have one

Gas padel stop working as if I didn't have one was able to cost home and would only go 20 miles and got it home and its been sitting for two weeks went to try and start it but wouldnt crank but it would turns over what would be the problem

What makes this problem better or worse?
