Hazard lights won't work after installing new stereo.

What is your question?

Everything is plugged in correctly and the connectors are intact. The stereo is a low end Pioneer but works great. I've seen this same problem on here before but the answer didn't solve the problem with my car. The only thing I saw that caught my attention was the "red" wire coming off the stereo was pink rather than red, and it was smaller than the actual red wire it connected to on the car. I was told that shouldn't make a difference. Any other suggestions?
