Engine started making a ticking noise after it was run with low oil for over a week

Hello, well, operating any mechanical contraption with low oil is never a good thing to do. It's quite possible that oil has not gotten to the places it needs to, acclerating wear in certain areas of the engine due to oil starvation. I am assuming you've changed and filled the oil with the appropriate grade and amount? Hands on testing will be needed to centralize where the noise may be coming from, to determine an action plan. Repairable within reason or not? This vehicle is equipped with a 3.6L V6 which in my experience can suffer from oil starvation in the cylinder heads, especially towards the firewall at the back of the heads. This can be camshaft wear - it will take some inspection and this is only a guess. Use this link to find some shops near you that can help with your concern: www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
