I had to replace cam 11/2019, now 2 years later its at dealer again for replacing can shaft. Is there something wrong? I can't understand this? Do you have any information?

This is my second time replacing cam shaft with in 2 years. Does any one know about this? The dealership fixed it. They told me the right side of camshaft was fixed and now the left side is shot. I had no idea there were sides. Is this true? My jeep is 8 years old, garage kept, oil/tire rotation every 4000 miles. I have every service receipt on this jeep. How come I'm replacing the camshaft again. Please explain to me. I appreciate it. Thank you
