Missfire code p0300. On excelleration gas pedal clicks medal on medal and does not excellerate properly. Engine light is on and sometimes blinks.

This is the ugly code because it does not single out a cylinder to troubleshoot. Your choices are : plugs, ignition coil, fuel injector, intake air leak. An intake air leak is the most probable since it is a random misfire. Check the air intake hoses and the intake gaskets. The best way to check this is to start the vehicle and spray carb. cleaner on the intake hoses (especially the PCV hose) and around the intake gaskets. If you hear the engine surge, you have found the leak and replace that part accordingly. Next step is to change the spark plugs. Good luck
