Airbag light? Clock spring?

What is your question?

Airbag light always on...was thinking clockspring, but horn, lights, etc. all still working. Any way to diagnose without getting hosed at dealer?

diags cost money because the person doing the job has to give you the exact part that fails. guesses cost more than a diag. many shop do air bag diags and are cheaper than dealers. shop around for a shop that deals with air bags. Roy

Check the switch in the console that turns on the passenger side airbag. If it's not lit in either the on or off position, it's probably that switch. I've replaced it twice in 163,000 miles. They're about $65 at the dealer.
