I need to remove and replace the passenger air bag on my 1998 wrangler.

if the bag was deployed, there is more to be replaced. the crash sensor must be replaced, the harness must be replaced and possibly the module. it is in your best interest not to attempt this. you could deploy the new one immediately. take it to a shop. Roy
can I at least install the bag and not plug it in. Then take it to a shop.
that would work but they have to remove it again to plug it in. if you are ok with spending more in labor, go for it Roy
