jeep runs rough,misfired and stalls out when stopped

Hello, Before anything else is done, test this engine for vacuum leaks. Especially around the intake manifold and carburetor. Next, test the distributor vacuum advance canister for leaks, and see if the timing is correct. if the distributor is incorrectly timed, you will certainly have these symptoms. Also, the carburetor on these engines (2 barrel) is known to cause these issues as well. Ensure the engine air filter is clean as well.
