why does my 2015 jeep renegade shut off while I am idle?

I would be stopped at a traffic light or just in traffic and the jeep just shuts off.

I’ve been in the auto repair business for a very long time - when a vehicle comes into the shop the first thing I do is diagnostic troubleshooting / testing so no unnecessary work is performed and parts are installed. It is very rare that a problem such as engine stall will present itself in a manor that is obvious or can be accurately determined by any other means. Online guessing will not be beneficial - nor will be posting a list of the many possibilities.
