Will only start with electric start?? Key turns and lights on dash light as usual though??

Key fob with electric start is the only way it’ll start. After I start it, I put the key in and turn it on and the jeep runs just fine. Will not start with just the key. The dash lights and everything else come on like they should when the key is turned on but nothing else happens.
